5 valuable reasons to do bounce online trauma training
At Bounce Trauma Resolution, we’ve been training specialists in trauma therapy and counselling, and other professionals, in the classroom for years. The time has now come to move to online trauma training, to make this life-changing technique available to people all over the world.
Bounce was created to meet the need for a more effective way to help people move on from trauma. Most of us go through traumatic experiences at some point in our lives, and much of the time we’re able to cope. But for some, the negative emotional effects of trauma can last for years and can drastically influence their life.
Traditional trauma therapy and counselling only try to deal with the symptoms, and this can provide temporary relief. But unless we tackle the root of the problem, the anxiety, depression and fear trauma causes will always linger under the surface, ready to resurface at any moment.
Bounce Trauma Resolution online trauma training will help you to empower the sufferer to get to the root of the problem and help them move on with a new lease of life.
What is Bounce Trauma Resolution?
Trauma Resolution isn’t therapy, and it isn’t counselling. We don’t prescribe treatment, try to interpret the sufferer’s feeling, or judge what they say.
Trauma Resolution is a therapeutic technique that, unlike other forms of therapy, guides sufferers through a structured communication process that helps them resolve their traumas for themselves. It enables the sufferer to file away past traumatic memories for good, removing the negative emotions they were triggering.
We call it integrative learning. And it’s very simple, as long as you stick to the strict communication protocols we deliver through our course.
Why should you take our online trauma training?
1. Help improve people's lives.
You may already work with victims of trauma. If so, you’ll know how endless sessions of therapy and counselling often only scratch the surface. They rarely have lasting effects.
Trauma Resolution is not restricted by time, with open sessions that can last anywhere between 30 minutes to a whole day. We work through each area and only stop when the trauma sufferer is happy that their issues are resolved.
And the results are remarkable. In most cases, our clients walk away with a whole new perspective, ready to live a happier life.
2. Improve your job satisfaction
Dealing with victims of trauma every day can be challenging. But there is no better feeling than seeing them smile and the relief on their faces as they finally resolve issues that have been crippling them for years.
By taking our online trauma training course, not only will you be helping them, but you’ll also become much more efficient at your job. Empowering people to improve their lives quickly and effectively will save you time and help you and your organisation.
3. Gain valuable CPD and become certified
Bounce Trauma Resolution contributes to your continuous development. It’s an extra skill for your toolbox that will help your everyday work, as well as fulfill your continual professional development obligations.
You can take the standalone course or one of our advanced training packages which also include practice and coaching sessions, technical direction, help with maintaining your CPD and you can also gain professional certification.
All kinds of professionals can benefit from learning Trauma Resolution techniques. We’ve successfully trained members of the clergy, police, lawyers, community workers, and human resources professionals who have all implemented these techniques with their own members, clients and staff.
4. Train your staff to tackle trauma
Does your organisation deal with trauma victims? Help them deal with trauma sufferers more effectively, and in less time. Use your funds more effectively and help sufferers fast, without having to refer them to external specialists.
Not only will it improve your organisation's effectiveness, but it will also save your staff valuable time and save you money. See our special packages for groups here.
In fact, trauma can affect staff in all organistions, and the lingering effects don’t go away in the workplace. Even if your employees are suffering in silence, anxiety and depression can have a profound impact on productivity, absences and results.
By equipping your mid-management and human resources team to quickly and effectively help those employees, your organisation will reap tangible rewards. Helping your employees deal with trauma will only improve team spirit, their sense of commitment and ultimately, your bottom line.
5. Make a career change
Are you stuck in your career path? Would you like to make a change and do something genuinely worthwhile?
You don’t have to be a trauma therapist or counsellor to become a Trauma Resolution specialist. People from all walks of life have trained with us and are now successfully helping others. And they’re also making a living.
Don Hewitt is a certified Bounce Navigator (that’s what we call our facilitators). He worked in the police force for over 20 years, before he later left to run several businesses such as a cleaning company and a grocery shop in Australia.
Don later returned to the UK and accepted an opportunity at Victim Support, through which he discovered Bounce. He immediately noticed the difference Trauma Resolution made to his work, and now works with our technique on a self-employed basis.
“Trauma Resolution is an invaluable life skill that can bring genuine benefits to other people. I get an amazing sense of job satisfaction by being able to help improve other people’s lives. The benefits are mutual, both for them and for me, and the technique is very simple to learn and deliver.”
It was Don that helped in the prolific case of Bobby Turnbull, whose mother, sister and aunt were shot dead at his home. Bobby turned to Trauma Resolution after years of suffering and trying to repress his traumatic experience.
Bobby’s life was completely turned around in less than two days of Trauma Resolution with Don. You can read more about Bobby’s story here.
